October 16, 2009- Saint Bernardine’s Gospel Choir is returning to King’s College to perform a free concert of customary gospel songs and current religious hymns at 7:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 24, and on Sunday, Oct. 25, during the 11 a.m. liturgy. The concert and liturgy will be held at the J. Carroll McCormick Campus Ministry Center, located at the corner N. Franklin and Jackson streets. This performance is a co-sponsored by the King’s Theater Department, the Office of Diversity, and Campus Ministry. St. Bernadine’s Gospel Choir has performed across Baltimore and in many notable venues, such as for the late Pope John Paul II and during Palm Sunday Mass broadcast on NBC. The concert and liturgy is a part of the “Experiencing the Arts” Series at King’s College.
