For Immediate Release
The play is a comedy of mischance and mistaken identity, involving two sets of identical twin brothers. Shakespeare exploits the situation in a dizzying series of outlandish maneuvers that involve a jealous wife, her moralizing sister, a puzzled courtesan, and a school-master-wizard, who proffers a religious cure for the city's madness. The King's Theatre Department brings a cast of over 20 students and alumni to the stage. Local cast members include Mark Petrucelli, Clarks Summit (Antipholus of Syracuse); Mark Zurek, Mountain Top (Antipholus of Ephesus); Chad Hoffman, Lehighton (Dromio of Syracuse); Sean McKeown, Wilkes-Barre (Dromio of Ephesus); Dan Stumpf, Catasauqua (Jailer); and Sean Colin Hankins, Lake Ariel (Angelo). King's Theatre is located in the Administration Building on North River Street. Ticket prices are $7; students/senior citizens, $4. For more information or to reserve tickets, call the box office at (570) 208-5825 or e-mail boxoff@kings.edu. King's College is a Catholic College sponsored by the congregation of Holy Cross. |
