King's names Megan Sellick assistant director of Residence Life
July 24, 2007 – King's College recently appointed Megan Sellick assistant director of residence life. Her primary responsibilities include assisting in the planning, organizing, directing and controlling of the daily functions of residential housing, including the supervision of resident counselors.
A native of Buffalo , N.Y. , Sellick earned her bachelor of arts degree in American studies from University of Notre Dame and a master of science degree in education and allied professions from University of Dayton .
Prior to coming to King's, Sellick worked as a graduate assistant in the Office of Residence Education at the University of Dayton (UD). At UD, she advised a student peer education group, organized focus groups, and designed a seminar on anger management. She also worked in the Office of Educational and Special Programs at UD, where she helped plan events, including New Student Orientation Program and Parents Weekend.
