King’s biology grad Andrew Capalong of Springbrook Twp. presents research paper
June 2, 2009 – Andrew Capalong of Springbrook Twp. recently presented his poster abstract, titled “Trout and Larval Salamanders Alter Each Others’ Feeding Behavior” at the 85th annual meeting of the Pennsylvania Academy of Science held in Camp Hill.
Capalong graduated cum laude from King’s College in May with a bachelor of science degree in biology. He was a member of Alpha Epsilon Delta honor society, which recognizes students planning careers in the health professions, and the College’s Dean’s List.
Last summer, Capalong worked for the National Park Service at Mount Rushmore in South Dakota as a biological science technician. He plans to pursue the Professional Master of Science Nursing Program at Wilkes University to become a nurse anesthesiologist.
