For release King’s Announces Success in Annual Fundraising Campaign May 6, 2009 - The Community Phase of the 2009 Campaign for King’s recently culminated with a “Victory” Luncheon at which results were announced. Contributions to the five-week Community Phase, which totaled almost $600,000 help King’s to build scholarship and faculty development funds, construct new facilities and renovate existing buildings, purchase equipment for classroom support and provide for campus expansion and beautification. The Community Phase total, combined with an Alumni Phase result of almost $650,000 and scholarships-in-kind donations of more the $270,000 allowed the College to surpass its combined $1 million Campaign for King’s goal by more than $500,000.
