Farber Golf Tournament Celebrates 25th Year
April 9, 2009 - One of the longest running local golf tournaments will celebrate its silver anniversary when the 25th Annual Rev. Paul Farber, C.S.C., Memorial Golf Tournament is held on Friday, June 12, at Mill Race Golf and Camping Resort in Benton. Proceeds benefit the King’s College Scholarship Fund.
The cost per golfer is $150 and includes greens fees and cart, refreshments and post-tourney special steak and chicken grille and awards ceremony. The tournament will begin at 11 a.m. with a shotgun start.
Five golfers who are closest to the pin on the par-three holes will be given the opportunity to participate in a $1 million hole-in-one shootout. Golfers will also have the opportunity to participate in a chipping and putting contest.
