King’s choir to perform free spring concert

April 7, 2009- Cantores Christi Regis, the choral group of King’s College, will perform a program of classical, contemporary, sacred and secular choral music during their annual Spring Concert at 7:30 p.m. Friday, April 17 and Saturday, April 18, in the J. Carroll McCormick Campus Ministry Center, located on Jackson Street.
 
Under the direction of Robert Yenkowski, the choir will perform a variety of spiritual and gospel music.  This spring’s selections include “O Crux Ave” by Palestrina, “A Red, Red Rose” by Mulholland, “Music, Spread Thy Voice Around” by Handle, “Dies Irae” by Mozart, and “Beati Quorum” by Standford.
