King’s names Laura Haden assistant director of alumni relations

March 3, 2008 – King’s College has appointed Laura Haden assistant director of alumni relations. In addition to fundraising programs like the Alumni Phonathon, Haden’s primary responsibilities include assisting the director in planning, developing, organizing and coordinating alumni events, including Homecoming and Reunion.
 
A resident of Millville, Haden comes to King’s from FASTSIGNS International Inc., a signs and graphics center, where she assisted clients in customer service, served as graphic designer, managed the bookkeeping, schedules and supplies.
 
Haden was an academic scholarship recipient and graduated from King’s with honors earning a degree in mass communications and a minor in psychology in 2004. She was active on campus, serving as writer and assistant news editor of The Crown, and a performer and stage manager for a number of plays with the theatre department. She was also awarded a Service Award for her role in the design of a DVD for the Capital Campaign.
 
Haden is an actor and set designer for Millville Community Players, where she directed a play to benefit a local food bank.
