The original works of Sandy Leonard will be on display in King’s Widmann Gallery

February 20, 2009 –Sandy Leonard, a member of the Cider Painters of America and miniature artist, will display a number of her original impressionistic paintings in the “My Desire” exhibition at the King’s College Widmann Gallery from Monday, March 2, through Friday, April 3. The exhibited pieces, inspired by memories and photographs, range from watercolors to pastel oils.
 
Leonard will discuss her craft during a gallery talk on Friday, March 13, from 6-8 p.m. The exhibition is free and open to the public. Gallery hours: Mon. through Fri., 9 a.m.-4:30 p.m.; Sat. and Sun., as arranged. The Widmann Gallery is located in the Sheehy-Farmer Campus Center, between North Franklin and North Main streets.
