CAMPUS MINISTRY - PROGRAM OPPORTUNITIES

Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA)
This is a program for students who are seeking Baptism into the Catholic Church, or who desire to complete their initiation into the Catholic Church through the reception of the Sacraments of Confirmation and Eucharist. The RCIA is also the place where students inquiring about the Catholic faith, or Catholic students seeking to update their faith can do so within a small communal and supportive setting. The sessions are informal & discussion-based. Inquire at campus ministry x5890.

Student Interfaith Forum:
Christianity in dialogue with the World's Religions

The forum provides an opportunity for students of a variety of faiths, or of no faith commitment to learn about each others beliefs, traditions, and religious practices even as they clarify and deepen their understanding and appreciation of their own faith traditions. Through video and speaker presentations, group reading /discussion of the sacred texts of world faiths, field trips, plus an interfaith board game, students explore the commonalities and distinctions among the world's great wisdom traditions on a variety of topics.

CHILL (Christians Hanging out In the Light of the Lord)
Weekly faith-sharing around a biblical theme in a relaxed environment.

Expresso Yourself Coffeehouse: A Monthly Thematic Coffeehouse
The coffeehouse offers top-notch feature entertainment plus and open mic segment highlighting the gifts and talents of King's students, faculty, and staff. As a reflective activity, Expresso seeks to explore life's great themes through music and the arts.
