Why should I give to King's College? As a relatively young educational institution, King's College is still growing its endowment program to one that will adequately meet the financial needs of the campus community. Your gift to King’s benefits those who need it most – the students. Our mission is to provide students with a broad-based liberal education in the Catholic tradition and to offer intellectual, moral and spiritual preparation for satisfying and purposeful lives. From its very beginning in 1946, King's has offered educational opportunity to first-generation college students who might otherwise have been unable to attend. Even today, over 95% of our students benefit from scholarship assistance made possible through the generosity of alumni, parents, friends, corporations and foundations. Your gift will enable King's to continue to provide an affordable, high-quality educational experience to deserving and talented young people. Your gift…
We offer many ways to make a gift. You can make a gift on our secure online site using your MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover card. If you prefer, you can write a check payable to King's College. To learn more about how you can contribute, please contact us. How can family members designate King’s for memorial gifts? Donations made in memory of a deceased individual are handled in accordance with the family's wishes. Unless otherwise directed, all memorial gifts are placed in a restricted fund account and generally used to provide financial assistance to students. Please contact the Vice President for Institutional Advancement for more information. How do I make a memorial gift? You will be prompted to answer several questions, including the type of donation, the name of the deceased and the family member who should be notified of your gift. The College sends the family member a memorial card indicating the donor's name and address, but not the amount of the gift. You may also choose to have us bill you or to make your gift offline using a MasterCard, VISA, American Express or Discover card or by check. To do so, please email the Director of Institutional Advancement Services or contact by phone at 570-208-5880.
