STUDY ABROAD AFFILIATED PROGRAMS John Cabot University in Rome, Italy Located in the historic and picturesque Trastevere neighborhood of Rome , near the Vatican , John Cabot is a small American university with a distinctive European and international character. Students come from the United States , Italy , and over 40 countries across the globe to John Cabot, which has assembled an international faculty focused on teaching and learning. The setting of John Cabot University is all important. The city of Rome , layered with antiquities and the historical strata of 2500 years, is also one of the most active centers of contemporary culture and business in the modern world. Rome is the home of several UN agencies, including the Food and Agriculture Organization and the World Food Program. From Rome and the Vatican have come peace initiatives and effective diplomacy.
