Planning for a career in many professions includes attending graduate or professional school after completing your undergraduate program at King's. The process of deciding to attend graduate school, researching programs and completing the steps for application can be lengthy, time consuming and, at times, confusing. Because of this it is very important to begin the process early, preferably in your junior year, although the freshmen and sophomore years are not too soon to become familiar with and begin the initial steps in the process. In addition to making use of the materials in the Career Resource Center listed below, plan to attend a workshop sponsored by the Office of Career Planning and Placement or schedule an individual appointment with a career counselor to map out your plan. You can also arrange to conduct a videotaped practice graduate school interview session in the Office of Career Planning and Placement.
