ADULT LEARNER OPTIONS

Certificates
The Center for Lifelong Learning encourages professional development through a short-term program of studies designed to provide opportunities in new careers, upward mobility in present employment, or personal development. Each certificate program requires successful completion of four to eight prescribed courses at King's. Certificates are available in:  Business Administration, Computers and Information Systems, Finance, Human Resources Management, Organizational Dynamics & Leadership, and Writing.

Fast Track Secondary Certification
Designed for those who have an undergraduate degree in Biology, Chemistry, English, French, General Science, or Spanish to become certified to teach in as little as eighteen months.  Must have an undergraduate degree from a four year accredited institution, at least a 3.0 G.P.A. and the general ability to use a computer.

Accelerated Courses
King's College offers accelerated undergraduate courses each semester, which enable students to earn credits in eight weeks. The program is an accelerated degree completion program for working professionals who want to earn a certificate, associate's, or bachelor's degree. Courses are taught Saturdays from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 noon.

Visiting Students Program
Students attending other colleges and universities may take courses at King's College through the Visiting Student Program. Students should be in good academic standing and have written approval from the registrar of their institution.
